www.suvaa.in is an online portal of Praya Innovations Private Limited. In this Privacy Policy, references to “you” mean any person submitting any data to us or our agent or the website.

We will only collect information where it is necessary for us to do so and we will only collect information if it is relevant to our dealings with you.

Compliance with DPDP Act, 2023

This Privacy Policy is prepared in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Users shall have the rights available under applicable law, including the right to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent with respect to their personal data.

 

Data that We Collect

We may collect various information if you seek to place an order for a product on the website. We collect, store, and process your data for processing your purchase on the website and any possible later claims, and to provide you with our services. We may collect your title, name, gender, date of birth, email address, billing address, delivery address, GPS, telephone number, mobile number, login and account information, including screen name, unique user ID, images, photos and videos, data on physical characteristics, including weight, height, and body measurements, payment details, payment card details, or bank account details.

 

A. Collection of Your Personal Information

  1. Collection of Personal Information: “Personal information” is defined to include information that, whether on its own or in combination with other information, may be used to readily identify or contact you such as name, email address, phone number, etc., or information which is required to initiate a refund/exchange of the products offered by Suvaa (“Suvaa Products”) such as purchase information, payment details, shipping address, etc.
  2. At the time of creating the account, user data such as name, email ID, etc., shall be collected and the user grants requisite permission for the same. Such information gathered shall be utilized to ensure greater customer satisfaction and help a customer satiate its needs. The type of personal information that we collect from you varies based on your particular interaction with the Company. We may also collect personal information that you post in your Submitted Content such as profile, feedback, and any comments or discussions you post in any blog, forum, or other correspondence site on Suvaa. The Company reserves the right to record the conversations through the messaging/chat mechanism on the platform. All chat/messaging logs can be used for, but not limited to, monitor and prohibit abuse, safeguard the rights of the users, resolve disputes, etc.

Collection of Automatic Information, Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Devices: We and our third-party service providers, which include ad networks, use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of Suvaa, such as your browser type, your ISP or operating system, your domain name, your access time, the URL of the previous website you visited, your page views, your IP address, and the type of device that you use. We also track how frequently you visit Suvaa. We use this information (including the information collected by our third-party service providers) for website analytics, to determine relevant advertising, to evaluate the success of our advertising campaigns, and as otherwise described in this policy. Currently, we do not honor browser requests not to be tracked.

    1. Explicit Consent: We collect, process, and use your personal data only on the basis of your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent. Consent shall be obtained by means of clear affirmative action (such as ticking a box or clicking “I Agree”) and may be withdrawn by you at any time by contacting us at the details provided in this Policy. No services shall be denied solely on the ground of withdrawal of consent, except where such data is strictly necessary for providing the services.

    2. Children's Data: Our services are intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 years of age.   4. We may obtain your device ID, which is sent to the Company’s servers and used in fraud prevention efforts.
  5. Cookies: We and our third-party service providers collect information from you by using cookies. A cookie is a small file stored on a user's computer hard drive containing information about the user. The cookie helps us analyze web traffic or informs you about your use of a particular website. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual, tailoring its operations to your needs, likes, and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We may use clear GIFs in connection with Suvaa to track the activities of Suvaa visitors, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Suvaa usage. We and our third-party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML emails to our visitors, to help us track email response rates, identify when our emails are viewed, and track whether our emails are forwarded.


Use of Data Collected

We need this information to allow you to place your order for a product on the website. We may use that data to process payment for the product and deliver the product to you. We may pass your name, phone number, email ID, and address on to a third party to make delivery of the product to you. We store and process your information on computers and servers of Shopify, and Razorpay, that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices.

  • For internal record-keeping purposes.
  • For shipping and delivery of the Suvaa Products and to initiate return/exchange and refunds.
  • To process billing and payment, including sharing with third-party payment gateways in connection with Suvaa.
  • To improve and maintain Suvaa, troubleshoot problems, and track analytics.
  • To send promotional emails or messages regarding new products, offers, or other information.
  • For market research purposes, including demographic targeting and analytics.
  • To resolve disputes, protect ourselves and other users of Suvaa, and enforce our Terms of Use.

Registration on Suvaa shall be deemed consent to be contacted for the purposes mentioned above, even if registered with the National Customer Preference Register (NCPR) and opted out of promotional calls or messages.

 

Cross-Border Data Transfer

Your personal data may be stored and processed outside India by our trusted third-party service providers (including but not limited to Shopify, and Razorpay). Such transfers will only be made to jurisdictions permitted by applicable Indian law and subject to contractual safeguards ensuring the same level of data protection as required under Indian law.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. For example, account information will be retained for a period of 5 years from the last activity on your account. Upon expiry of the retention period, or upon your request, your personal data shall be securely deleted or anonymized, unless retention is required by law.

 

Other Uses of Data Collected

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails or messages through the links provided; requests will be processed within 7 working days.

  1. Electronic Newsletters – Users may subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters.
  2. Share – Users may forward links or content to others; only the sender and recipient information is used.
  3. Polling – Users may participate in polls; responses are aggregated.
  4. Surveys – User survey responses may be used in aggregate form and for marketing/research purposes; individual responses are not shared.

We may contract with third parties for the provision and maintenance of Suvaa and business operations. Third parties include Shopify, and Razorpay. We may transfer databases containing personal information if we sell our business. Except as set out here, we will not sell or disclose personal data without prior consent unless necessary under law. Suvaa may contain advertising and links to other sites; we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

We have technical and security measures to prevent unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or damage to information. Personal details are collected on secure servers, with firewalls in place. Occasionally, proof of identity may be requested before disclosing personal information. Users are responsible for protecting passwords and devices.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to cause significant harm, we shall notify the affected users and the Data Protection Board of India in accordance with applicable law. Updating, Deleting, and Correcting Your Personal Information

Users may review, correct, and delete personal information by logging into Suvaa. Closed accounts’ data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, fee collection, dispute resolution, troubleshooting, investigations, and enforcement of Terms of Use. Publicly posted content may not be removable.
